Everyone can participate in WI Wins.

• Click Here, and you will download your very own set of WI Wins Thank You cards. Keep them in a backpack, wallet, or purse. When you are out where tobacco products are sold, give a card to a clerk, server, store manager, or owner. Show your support, that’s how Wisconsin wins.

• You can join the Recognition and Reminder campaign. You can thank clerks and store managers for doing the right thing. If you know of places that sell tobacco illegally, report it to you local WI Wins coordinator.

• Praise a clerk for asking for ID. They are doing their job and the right thing.

• Thank clerks and stores for not selling to minors. They need to hear your support. It makes a difference to be recognized and rewarded for doing the right thing.

• Support local law enforcement and health departments when they give a citation to a retailer or clerk for selling tobacco to minors. It’s a public safety and health issue.

• Call, fax, email, write a letter, or speak to leaders in your community. Say, “I support the WI Wins approach, reducing illegal access to tobacco by minors is the right thing to do!” It is extremely important that key officials in your community hear directly from you that keeping kids off tobacco is important to public safety and public health, not to mention the future of youth.
